Click any instrument from the File List located on the left-side of the File Details of any file in Land Titles Online.
The Instrument summary includes three sections:
- The top-left side contains the instrument overview. The information you see in this section varies depending on the form type. Order the Status of Instrument for the most complete summary. This section includes any combination of the following:
- The Instrument Number and Name.
- The instrument Version. This displays the date and time the instrument was ordered and is current as of that moment.
- If you order an updated copy, the static date will convert to a dropdown list showing the multiple versions of the instrument.
- The instrument Status.
- The Registration Date.
- A summary of the details of the form.
- If you only order a copy of the document, you'll only see the Instrument Number, Name, and Version.
- To the left of the overview is any available downloads and buttons to order a Status of Instrument and/or a copy of the document.
- Click the PDF button under the Download header to view the PDF Status of Instrument (dependent on what you ordered).
- Click the PDF button under the Download header to view the PDF copy of the registered document (dependent on what you ordered).
- Click the Add to Cart button under the Order header to add a new Status Instrument or copy of the document to your cart.
- Below is the Titles Affected tab.
- This tab shows all Accepted, Entered, or Verified Titles affected by the instrument by default.
- Remove the Exclude Cancelled Titles filter to include Cancelled titles.
- You may also see a Created Titles and Affecting Instruments tab depending on the type of instrument you order.
Tips
-
The list of items in your file sorts in descending order by the date ordered or updated, starting with the most recent.
-
Items in the list that haven’t been viewed appear bolded and become un-bolded once viewed by you or anyone sharing your file.
-
Orders in File Details are static, meaning the information doesn’t update automatically. You always see the details as they were at the time of the order.
- Order an updated copy at any time from the File Details page.
- If you have already ordered a copy of a document, there is no option to order an updated copy from the File Details. This is because the accepted document doesn't change even if the Status of Instrument does.
-
Click the Add to Cart checkbox beside any item on the Titles Affected tab to order associated items quickly.
