Follow these steps to search for an instrument in Land Titles Online. Instruments may also be called registrations or documents.
- Select the file you want to work in from your Workspace.
- The file you select is the file the instrument will be stored after purchase.

- Select the Search and Order tab.
- If the file is empty, this tab is open by default.

- Choose the Instruments tab then select the Registration sub-tab.
- Search up to 13 instruments at once with each instrument number separated by a comma.
- To narrow your search, add the Land Titles District Number (Office Code) after a forward slash at the end of the instrument number.
- For example: 1234567/1.
- For example: 1234567/1.
- The District Number is optional. Without it, your search will return all matching titles across all six districts.
- District Numbers:
- /1 for Winnipeg
- /2 for Brandon
- /3 for Portage la Prairie
- /4 for Morden
- /5 for Neepawa
- /6 for Dauphin
- Search up to 13 instruments at once with each instrument number separated by a comma.
Important details
- You won’t be charged to search for instruments. Charges apply only you complete the purchase.
- Add items to your cart anytime, and remove them before completing your order if needed.
- Search result statuses:
- Your results include instruments with Accepted, In Error, and Discharged statuses.
- In Error instruments cannot be purchased.
