Follow these steps to search for an instrument in Land Titles Online. Instruments may also be called registrations or documents.

  1. Select the file you want to work in from your Workspace.
    • The file you select is the file the instrument will be stored after purchase.

  2. Select the Search and Order tab.
    • If the file is empty, this tab is open by default.

  3. Choose the Instruments tab then select the Registration sub-tab.
    • Search up to 13 instruments at once with each instrument number separated by a comma.

    • To narrow your search, add the Land Titles District Number (Office Code) after a forward slash at the end of the instrument  number.
      • For example: 1234567/1.

    • The District Number is optional. Without it, your search will return all matching titles across all six districts.

    • District Numbers:
      • /1 for Winnipeg
      • /2 for Brandon
      • /3 for Portage la Prairie
      • /4 for Morden
      • /5 for Neepawa
      • /6 for Dauphin
