Click any title from the File List located on the left-side of the File Details of any file in Land Titles Online.

The title summary includes four sections:

  1. The top-left side contains the title overview including:
    • The Title Number.
    • The title Version. This displays the date and time the title was ordered and is current as of that moment.
      • If you order an updated copy, the static date will convert to a dropdown list showing the multiple versions of the title.
    • The title Status.
    • A Land Index summary.

  2. To the left of the overview is any available downloads and buttons to order a Status or Record of Title.
    • Click the PDF button under the Download header to view the PDF Status or Record of Title (depending on what you ordered).
    • Click the XML button under the Download header to view the XML Status or Record of Title (depending on what you ordered).
    • Click the Add to Cart button under the Order header to add a new Status or Record of Title to your cart.

  3. Below is the Affecting Instruments tab.
    • This tab shows all Active and Entered instruments on the title by default.
    • Remove the Show Active Instruments Only filter to include Inactive instruments.

  4. Finally, click on the Additional Information tab to the right to view the Originating Title(s) and the Plan.

Tips

  • The list of items in your file sorts in descending order by the date ordered or updated, starting with the most recent.

  • Items in the list that haven’t been viewed appear bolded and become un-bolded once viewed by you or anyone sharing your file.

  • Orders in File Details are static, meaning the information doesn’t update automatically. You always see the details as they were at the time of the order.

    • Order an updated copy at any time from the File Details page.

  • Click the Add to Cart checkbox beside any item on the Affecting Instruments or Additional Information tabs to order associated items quickly.
