Creating a new file

Follow these steps to create a new file in eRegistration.

  1. Click the New File button.

  2. Enter a File Number and the select the  Registration Office. Both are mandatory fields.
    • Closing Date  and Description are both optional fields.
    • These fields are searchable. Adding details will make it easier to locate your files later.

  3. Click the Save New File button to save your file.

  4. Your new file will appear in your Workspace file list, arranged numerically, then alphabetically by File Number by default.

 

 

Tips

  • Registration office is the land titles district in which the lands are located.
  • Select one registration office per file. Create a file in each registration office to submit the same file to more than one registration office.
