Your file's status isn't updated in eRegistration but the following notifications help you track your file from submission to acceptance.
- eRegistration updates the first registration number assigned to your file series in your Workspace once your file registers.
- Remove the Exclude files already submitted for registration filter located in the top-right corner of your Workspace to view registered files.
- Remove the Exclude files already submitted for registration filter located in the top-right corner of your Workspace to view registered files.
- View the registration numbers for every form on your file in the File Details page.
Accepted status
The following occurs once a file is accepted:
- The user who submits the file receives an automated email notification of the file acceptance including the updated Status of Title/Instrument as a PDF (one status) or ZIP (multiple statuses).
- We send this email to the submitter's notification email by default, primary email as a back-up.
- We send the same automated email without attached statuses is sent to anyone else sharing the file with notification permissions.
- Your firm's account administrator receives the Client File Report via email after 5pm on the day the file is accepted.
- Tips for accepted status files:
- Download your accepted file from eRegistration within 7 days of acceptance.
Deficient status
The following occurs if a file is deficient:
- The user who submits the file receives an automated email notification of the file deficiency.
- We send this email to the submitter's notification email by default, primary email as a back-up.
- We send the same automated email is sent to anyone else sharing the file with notification permissions.
- The Teranet Manitoba employee examining your file will send a follow-up email which outlines the deficiency notes in detail.
- Tips for deficient status files:
- Address deficiency reasons promptly to avoid delay or possible rejection.
- Refer to the Land Titles Correction Policy for correction assistance.
Rejected status
The following occurs if a file is rejected:
- The user who submits the file receives an automated email notification of the file rejection including a summary of the rejection reasons as a PDF.
- We send this email to the submitter's notification email by default, primary email as a back-up.
- We send the same automated email without attached rejection notes is sent to anyone else sharing the file with notification permissions.
- Your firm's account administrator receives the Client File Report via email after 5pm on the day the file is accepted.
- Tips for rejected status files:
- Download your accepted file from eRegistration within 60 days of acceptance.
- Create a new file to re-submit your series. You don't need to wait to get everything back to resubmit your file for registration.
