Not assigned status
Your deposit has this status once created but prior to the first submission.
Entered status
Your deposit receives the Entered status once it has been submitted for examination and is placed in the examination queue.
- At this point Teranet Manitoba's Survey Examiners haven't reviewed the deposit yet even though a deposit number has been assigned.
- Contact us to make an edits to your deposit at this stage.
In examination status
Your deposit receives the In Examination status when it is removed from the examination queue, and a Survey Examiner begins the review process.
- We open the deposit as soon as possible to confirm the DGS and other indexing information therefore there may be a short lag between when your deposit changes to this status and the full examination process begins.

Memo out status
Your deposit receives the Memo Out status when the examination is complete, and the Survey Examiner returns the deposit to you for one of two reasons:
(1) Approval for copies.
(2) The Survey Examiner requires additional information or corrections before proceeding.
- Review the Deposit Status and Sub-Status and Deposit Comments for more details on your next steps:
| Sub-Status | Action |
| OK for copies | Ready to register |
| Correction required | View memo details for the required correction |
| Tentatively accepted and OK for copies | |
| Tentatively accepted and OK for copies subject to corrections | |
| OK for copies subject to correction |
- At this point you are fully able to edit your deposit again.
- You can upload new documents including new deposit images.
- Your new documents don't replace old ones so that in the end your deposit contains a complete record.
- This is the same reason why you can edit newly added documents but not the ones you originally submitted.
- Reply to all outstanding Deposit Comments.
Memo in status
Your deposit receives the Memo In status when you resubmit it after making corrections or clarifications. This status replaces the Entered status for all subsequent resubmissions of the deposit.
