Adding documents to a deposit

Follow these steps to add documents, including plans, to your deposit in Plan Deposit Submission.

 

  1. Add documents to your upload queue one of two ways:
    • Drag and drop your documents into the upload box located in the centre of the Deposit Details page.
    • Click the Add to Upload List button located above the upload box and select the document from its location on your computer.

  2. Open the Document Type dropdown list for each document and label each deposit item from the available list (see tips below).
     
  3. Click the Upload Documents button to upload your documents.
    • Complete these steps as many times as you need to build you deposit.

 

 

Tips

  • Upload and submit documents in any order.

  • The file size limit for each document is 500 MB.

  • You can upload any of the following file types: TIF, PDF, JPEG, and DWG.

  • The list of available document types you can choose from depends on the document type.
    • TIF: Deposit Image, Condo Sheet, Monument Restoration Sketch, and Miscellaneous.
    • PDF: Field Notes, Letter, Monument Restoration Report, Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM) Report, Paper Title, Title Plot, and Miscellaneous.
    • DWG: Miscellaneous.
    • JPEG: Miscellaneous.

  • You can upload one deposit image per submission.
    •  You can upload an additional deposit image with each subsequent submission of the same deposit.
    • If you need to submit a plan of subdivision and a related plan of easement, you will submit them as two separate deposits with the same file number.
