How do I close my account?

In order to close your account with our office, please provide a letter on letterhead and include the following: 

 - Firm and Account Numbers

 - Requesting to close your account

 - Firm Administrator's signature
 

If you have a balance in your account, please have the Firm Administrator send an email to clientservice@teranet.ca stating the following:

 - Firm and Account Number

 - The amount you are wanting returned by cheque 

Once the e-mail is received, it will be sent to our Finance Department for the account to be closed and the cheque to be issued for the funds remaining in the account. It will take approximately two weeks for you to receive the cheque by mail once it's been requested.
