If your primary authentication method is unavailable, for example, you don’t have your cell phone on you, alternate methods are available.
After entering your email and password in any Teranet Manitoba application, you'll see three alternate MFA options to verify your identity.
To use an alternative MFA method, click Try another method on the Verify Your Identity screen and select:
- Authenticator App or SMS – Verify with a mobile/desktop authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator) or receive a code via SMS text. You’ll see the option opposite to your initial setup.
- Email – Receive a one-time authentication code at your login email.
- Recovery Code – Enter the single-use recovery code provided during setup. After using it, you’ll receive a new code. Store it securely.
