1. Log in to any of our online services. The multi-factor authentication setup screen appears.

  2. When prompted, click Yes to enable MFA, then click Continue.

  3. Select Text Message (SMS) as your authentication method.
    • Choose your country code (defaults to Canada) and enter your 10-digit mobile number. This number will be your default for MFA going forward.

  4. Enter the six-digit code sent to your mobile device and click Continue.

  5. A recovery code will be displayed—save this in a secure place. You’ll need this code in the future as a back-up authentication option.
    • Check the box to confirm you’ve saved the recovery code, then click Continue.

  6. Your MFA setup is now complete!
